How it works

To help you achieve a healthier future, I must understand your past. When you come to see me as your exercise physiologist, I take the time to listen to who you are, & your story. This is vital in helping to determine the best way to catapult you toward your goals. Here’s what you’ll typically experience:

Initial Consultation:

  • I will start with a thorough evaluation of your medical history and fitness level

  • Conduct physical assessments to examine your abilities, strengths & weaknesses

  • Communicate with other people in your health care team

Individualised Exercise Programs:

  • Based on your assessment, I will develop a customized exercise program that fits your needs, whether you're recovering from an injury or aiming to enhance your performance

Guidance and Support:

  • Throughout our time together, I will provide ongoing support and motivation

  • Ensuring you understand the exercises and their benefits

Education:

  • I will give education surrounding the principles of exercise, injury prevention, and how to effectively incorporate physical activity into your life

 

Overall, my goal is to empower you to take charge of your health through safe and effective exercise strategies.

I also assist in improving your mind-body connection to have you functioning at an optimal level. Using natural & holistic practices, I will assist you to develop a Health & Wellness plan I call the ‘4 Pillars of Health’.

Creating a strong foundation will allow us to help build a stronger you.

Hi, I am Michael Rosato, and  welcome to FunctionFit Exercise Physiology.

I truly believe that movement is medicine in helping to regain or retain your independence & quality of life.

I have been in the fitness industry for over 12 years as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer before making the leap into Allied Health in 2021.

 

My mission is to give every person the opportunity to access the necessary tools to achieve a healthy & functional life. FunctionFit was established to create an easily accessible place for any individual to receive treatment, information, and support to improve their health, performance, and recovery.

I take a holistic approach, striving to help you create and maintain that mind-body connection.

Using Exercise Physiology integrated with Natural Health practices, I assist you to create an individualised program, giving you the opportunity to thrive, and love life, mentally and functionally.
